Vinny Manzo began playing guitar on his 16th birthday. He began taking lessons, playing in local bands, and was influenced early on by the styles of Jerry Garcia, Dicky Betts, Duane Allman, and Mark Knopfler. His all-encompassing passion for music led him to major in music at Rutgers, where he studied with renowned jazz professor Ted Dunbar.
Vinny soon discovered that a guitarist with a sweet, compelling voice could get gigs easily, and since he had one, he began playing solo gigs at clubs, increasing both his repertoire and opportunities for social interaction with college girls simultaneously. (Fellow band members note that he has always excelled at multi-tasking).

As Vinny's improvisational chops grew and matured over the years, he began to seek out more collaborative efforts and band situations. The Reckoning gives Vinny the forum to explore several of his strengths- rhythm and lead guitar, and vocal harmonies. Both he and Ray are enjoying the intuitive vocal and instrumental interplay in the music they are playing, writing, and recording both in small and large band settings.
